Thunder Asunder

The return of Thunder Asunder is no joke. It's for reals. We played a show. It went over better than any we have played before. We gots mad claps and daps (and faps from a few). We have new equipment, new spirits of jazz, and new leases on life.

Line-up: Ross on drums, Jesse on synth.
Songs: www.myspace.com/thunderasunder

Thazzit. That's all ye needs.

SO! We have a show April 25th in Athol, Return to the Basement, post if curious about details. It's at Joey Berthiaume's house for those in the know. All are welcome, and it's free. Also, the Bynars are playing, and they're really good.

Love and hugs,
-Thunder Asunder

We're back. www.myspace.com/thunderasunder

Drum up a little enthusiasm and perhaps we'll play a show. Not sure if that's the usual order of things but then we tend to not be hip to convention... usually to our deficit, but not always.

Ross' aunt has been staying in our practice room for two months. SHE HAS MOVED OUT.

WE PRACTICE... SOON. WE UH, RECORD SOON! WE MAYBE PLAY OUT SOON? NEW SONGS SOON?

I have to keep these things brief or you won't read them, will you? Don't you love me anymore? Fans? Tons of adoring fans?

Hey party people, as it turns out.. we're still a band! Yeah!

We are even recording within the next two weeks! Wow! Kablam!

I guess that's all the news I have, if anyone would like to schedule us some shows, we will most likely want to play them!
We draw a very small crowd, and sometimes people even like us! We're lots of fun.

Very much like a laser beam!

Hugs and kisses, of course,
-Jesse, Ben, Ross

These will be our first shows as an instrumental band so really any support is appreciated because we're going to be under critical eyes in our moments of reformation. We have a practice Monday, where we'll hopefully be solidifying a few of our suprises as well.

We have two shows coming up,

one with lights some day soon?????

Then one that actually is manifesting,

April 2nd, 2005. Provided I can get the night off from work.
It's at the North Brookfield VFW. It will be our first show as an instrumental band, and it's being set up by a really nice kid named Alex who has been supportive of us as long as I can remember knowing him. It's not all that long, actually, less than a year probably, but still, he's a good kid and it looks to be a good show.
Other bands playing:
Miserlou
Mail Myself to Thereau
Kervin
My sincere apologies for any names I spelled wrong or if the order the bands are listed in is a big deal.
Anyway our halloween show was at this place and it was a lot of fun, so I'd reccomend this show over others.

New keyboard driven stuff on the way, along with some sweet suprises.

Oh what we would do for you! [Feb. 22nd, 2005|01:25 pm]

In our first effort as a reformed and loving Thunder Asunder we are playing a show at Ross', yes our drummers house. Due to size and planning constraints the max capacity for this show is 1, and that 1 slot has been reserved. The show is Feb 24th as originally scheduled, and we'll be playing sans bass for the kind gentleman who was unable to secure the show originally planned for the same day. Don't think of it as a pity party, it's more like a great example of the new and improved TA. We'll play a show just for you! Birthday parties, barmitzvahs, we'll do it. We can also play as a soft rock band called Silk in the Wind if you need. If you're ever really feeling down and need a private show, or perhaps want us to play a show you're organizing, please please invite us. Thank you, a very desperate Thunder Asunder.

PS. More details of March 11th coming soon.

Okay a few new things -

Jesse Kelley and Thunder Asunder are now two seperate entities. That means he's not in the band anymore. He has his own thing he's doing and we all kinda feel like we hold our own instrumentally so now we can shift the focus a bit. It's not a loss, but a gain of space. Negative space if you will, that will use to uncramp things. Like knocking down your closet walls to make your room bigger, but throwing out everything that was in the closet. Or putting it another room I suppose... uhhh... anyway.

Feb 24th show in Ashburnham is cancelled. Sorry about that. We still have a (tentative) show March 11th, though we still don't know where it is. We have some new fun stuff planned for the show, we've EVEN BEEN PRACTICING, HOLY CRAP! So... stay excited.
G'day.

So there is a basement show in Ashburnham, MA, our home town, planned for February 24th. We would love if our fans would make it to this, as it is going to be a lot of friends and fun jammed into one basement, one the best places to have a sweet show. You can contact me for directions. JK might be able to supply a ride or two from his town since it's during Feb. Vaca for high schools, I dunno, ask him. Our punk friends A Dead Resistance are playing, as well as the home-owners band and a local band of some of our other hooligan friends. I don't know if Ben is going to be playing this show with us, I'm assuming no at this point, but it should still kick ass.

If you want an mp3 or two or ten, feel free to contact my SN, "PheeBConstrictor".

Hope to see you there,
-Jesse D
